They are winged beetles, commonly called as fireflies or lightning bugs. They actually throw out fluorescent green light from the body to attract their mate. Experience this mesmerizing phenomenon of natural lighting with Unnayan Tours in Fireflies Festival with Lakeside stay in MTDC.

Also note that Bhandardara is a very remote village in Maharashtra and no luxury is available there.
