Lonar Crater was created by a meteorite collision impact during the Pleistocene Epoch. Lonar Crater is the only crater in the world that is created in Basalt rock which is considered as the hardest rock. It is Asia’s largest and world’s 3rd largest meteorite crater.
We; as Unnayan Tours explore Lonar Crater and around since year 2009 and spreading the awareness about scientific, astronomical, mythological and historical aspect of Lonar Crater.
